All about wellness.
Our wellness & vitality is the next layer upon which the foundation of our spiritual alignment & purpose is built. As we prioritize our holistic wellness, we are simultaneously empowering our psychological well-being.
WELLNESS + VITALITY
SESSION ONE.
In Session One we first made the link between spiritual alignment and wellness & vitality. One implicates the other — it works both ways. When we create a viable regimen with regard to our wellness, we are promoting the clarity that spiritual alignment brings. When we are centered in our purpose, we are prone to thrive in our wellness and vitality. We are more likely to make choices that promote our overall vitality.
We discussed the importance of identifying what makes us feel clear, empowers us to feel good, and promotes us showing up at our best. You each identified regimens or various practices you employ that support your well-being and allow you to feel supported as you are showing up for life.
We also placed special emphasis on our menstrual cycles and what they signal as it pertains to how our body is doing and feeling. We learned tools we can implement to empower a more harmonious cycle — which is important to prioritize, as it is something we know will occur each month,
YOUR WERK:
Identify the rituals, routines, and regimens you incorporate that empower you showing up as you best self. Post these elements somewhere with the header ‘WELLNESS TOOLS.” Schedule a specific time at least once a day for one of these tools. Do not let a week go by without you empowering yourself in one of these ways.
Consider implementing one of tools below to empower a more pleasant menstrual cycle.
SESSION TWO.
In Session Two we began with a guided meditation that was all about visualizing our dreams on the other side of a bridge — empowering us to recognize our goals as tangible and able to be realized through a series of steps. We underlined the importance of FAITH, as the currency that empowers the steps we take and allows us to actualize our goals and dreams.
We then had a beautiful sharing by Chef Ahki Taylor who empowered us with wellness and vitality tools that support us from the inside out. She walked us through a wellness litmus test, for which we each came away with personal insights to inform shifts we may need to make in our daily routines, regimens, etc. She provided a number of insights regarding our mental cycles — al of which are in alignment with our menstrual cycle related tools offered in our opening session, posted below.
She left us with some powerful antidotes that we can take with us as we segue into the next session.
4 THINGS EVERY WOMAN MUST DO/HAVE:
Identify an elder woman and sit at her feet regularly for wisdom
Know your purpose and work in a career that aligns with that purpose
Do a 21 day detox or fast — this creates life longevity and support. She encouraged a detox at least 2 times a year.
Locate your ecstasy — find the thing that lights you up and engage regularly — this is the joy we need for our journey.
YOUR WERK:
Use the wellness & vitality insights gained in these past two sessions, as indicators of where adjustments need to be made in your current reality. Commit to taking one intentional step towards a more fortified wellness regimen — YOU DESERVE IT!
Be mindful of the various menstrual cycle insights provided during both of our sessions. Take note of the tools below. Begin empowering yourself for a more harmonious cycle by incorporating the practices that resonate as a part of your period experience going forward.
“Our work is to create the most optimal being upon which our purpose rests. In doing so we are promoting not only the sustainability of ourselves, but also our life mission.”
